IN LIGHT OF THE ON-GOING COVID-19 PANDEMIC, GOVERNOR MURPHY SIGNED EXECUTIVE ORDER 144
WHICH MADE THE JULY 7, 2020 PRIMARY ELECTION A PREDOMINANTLY VOTE-BY-MAIL ELECTION.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
REGARDING THE JULY 7th PRIMARY ELECTION
Per Executive Order 144, all registered Democrat and Republican voters will automatically receive a
Vote-by-Mail Ballot. Mailing of Vote-by-Mail Ballots will commence on June 12th by order of the
Secretary of State. All Vote-by-Mail Ballots have prepaid postage and must be postmarked and returned
to the Board of Elections on or before July 7th (Primary Day).
If you are an Unaffiliated voter, you will automatically receive a State issued Vote-by-Mail Application.
As an Unaffiliated voter, if you wish to vote in the Primary Election, you must complete the form in its
entirety and return it to the County Clerk’s Office as soon as possible.
In addition to using the US Postal Service to cast your vote, there will be five secured and surveilled
ballot drop boxes placed throughout the County for your convenience. For a list of these locations,
please contact the Gloucester County Board of Elections at 856 384 4500.
On Election Day there will be a minimal amount of polling places open for those who are physically
unable to vote a paper ballot. If you tear, soil, or misplace your Vote-by-Mail Ballot, please contact
the County Clerk’s Office at 856 384 4530 for further direction.

SBA PPP Paycheck Protection Program.

Today, April 24, 2020, an additional funding bill will be approved to support our small business community.The SBA Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) is handled by banks participating in the program and each bank has its own requirements and eligibility. If you have not done so already, please call your bank to inquire about the PPP program. Many banks have recently changed who is eligible to apply and how they are accepting applications.

We encourage everyone to visit https://www.sba.gov/funding-programs/loans/coronavirus-relief-options to find out when the SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) and SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan Emergency Advance (EIDL) will become available again as this program is also part of the funding that will be approved today.

Due to a change in State regulations for Gloucester County please be advised that the appeal filing deadline has changed.  Appeals must be filed between November 15, 2018 and January 15, 2019.  You may contact the Gloucester County Board of Taxation located at 1200 N Delsea Drive, Bldg A, Clayton, NJ (856-307-6448) or visit the county website – www.gloucestercountynj.gov – Departments – “B” for Board of Taxation – Forms – A1 – Appeals.  In addition, Chapter 75 post cards will be mailed on or before November 15, 2018.
